The Green Umbrella is a wonderful non-profit working to make Cincinnati one of the top 20 sustainable cities in the USA by the year 2020. As their event coordinator I managed big annual exhibitions as well as small monthly mixers. My favorite responsibility was working with our volunteer teams to design marketing materials for events like the Great Outdoor Weekend, a free sampler of 150 fun and educational programs hosted across 40 outdoor sites in the Cincinnati region. Using existing branding, I updated the GOW aesthetic and created a multi-channel suite of materials. These included the event poster and brochure, print and web ads, and graphics for the event website and social media platforms.
In 2015 I had the opportunity to work with the Green Umbrella team to brand a new event: The Midwest Regional Sustainability Summit. This event celebrated local connectivity, green business networking, and annual progress towards regional sustainability goals.
